I wrote this and it's got a pretty big chorus to it. Almost epic feeling. Thought i'd post it.

Scroll down for the latest version. ;)

This is really good! I would love to hear this recorded :) What kind of vocals would you put over it?

Damn, i didnt know people still used the word "epicore". but in any case this was a refreshing listen quite repetitve but i imagine with lyrics this could do wonders. i know its short, but i dont really have much to say other than its good and you should keep up what youre doing with this kinda stuff.

Thanks man, I also updated the track a little bit since, made the intro longer and outro a bit longer as well.

I like alot of this. It reminded me a bit of As I lay Dying, although I don't claim to be a big metal expert. I think it was the section that first happens at bar 3. I think the lead at bar 19 could be made a little more interesting? You could either do the two repeats (bars 19 to 22) and then have the third repeat different, or maybe have the rhythm of each two bar section more interesting- for example, having the second bar be a dotted crotchet and then five quavers. Just a thought :-) I like the rhythm part of it though :)
The solo (bar 59) is good. I think the' phrasing of the first bar is very nice, but you could maybe have more rhythmic interest in bars 61 and 62. It'd make for a much more effective lead to have a bit of variety rather than straight 16ths. The tapping part is good. Maybe a harmony though? could be interesting. And the transition back after the solo works very well.

That's really weird everything you said was pretty much updated in the latest version before your post. Check that one out, I think you'd like it a good bit more.

Also anyone else coming back in recheck the song I made a few updates just now. It's pretty much what I think is good. Going to get recording this soon. ;)
