So they've just come back after quite a big break, for anyone that doesn't know Azriel they're a kind of technical melodic hardcore band from Glasgow, Scotland (I'm awful at descriptions as you can tell!)

They've been around for years and over the last while supported A Day to Remember and For the Fallen Dreams on a European tour and have supported Bring me the Horizon, Architects etc on tour several times across the UK.

They lost there singer David, who was an amazing frontman as he's ****ed his throat and the doctor has told him no more singing or screaming or he'll lose his voice entirely which completely sucks.

They replaced David and there drummer and have come back with a new lineup.

There first show back is at Studio 24 in Edinburgh with Departures, By My Hands, As Autumn Falls and War Charge on Friday the 25th of November and it's going to be awesome.

That's the Facebook event.

The day after that they're playing 'TDON Fest' with Dead Swans, Oathbreaker, November coming Fire , Brutality will Prevail etc etc in Manchester.

I remember these dudes. I really liked them. It'd be interesting listening to some new material from them.

I have one album by this band but it's pretty good.

Ascendant is a really melodic and great song. Nothing special, but I enjoy it.

I think it's because they only have one album. :haha:

That would explain a lot. :o

Damn, I downloaded their album a ways back and got sidetracked and hadn't listened to it till now. It's so fun, generic, but fun. Makes me want to learn the songs on guitar, but I'm adament in learning some Vehemence riffs first.

This song always reminds me of Aesthetics by Between the Buried and Me:
