Are you talking about spinal tap?

Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and....

Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?

Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.

Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?

Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?

Marty DiBergi: I don't know.

Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.

Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Nigel Tufnel: [Long Pause.] .............These go to eleven.
:haha :haha :haha :haha
I'll do some searching for you but I doubt I'll be able to find anything. You might have to make them custom.

It's just one of those things where you have to see the movie to really get it. A lot of people still don't see the suttle humour in spinal tap. You just get it or you don't.

It doesn't matter what they say they go to.
If it's a 40 watt amp, both the same kind just with different knobs.
10 is maxed on one, 12 is maxed on the other, it will still be as loud.

^It's not really a novelty. It's not even something somebody will notice unless they're paying attention or if it's pointed out.
It's not what the amp looks like, it's the amp's capabilities and features that matter. People aren't gonna care how the volume number intervals are set up :p:

^My old '87 Dean Markley RM40DR tube amp went up to 15. Too bad that amp had to blow :(

It actually had a negative range too.
It went from -15 to 0 to +15.

^It had a problem with the rectifier, and one of the 2 EQ's were completely blown, so there wasn't much point in spending much on repairing it.
It only cost $700 back in the day.

I still have the 15" speaker though, it's in great condition.
