Pretty much. Neil + RHCP = Awesome
As much as I hate to say it. In this thread especially. Neil > RHCP. I've just realized that in the past couple of weeks. Get Massey Hall '71 if you want proof.

I owuld definitly say Neil has had a bigger impact that RHCP (or most artists actually). IMO, he is the most prolific songwriter of all-time. If I had to choose who I'd rather go to the Hall of Fame, I'd obvisiouly pick Neil. He is undoubtably in my top 5 artists. But, I'd say RHCP=Neil, not in terms of accolades (Neil has a huge edge) but in terms of who I enjoy listening to the most.

:haha  You guys are all so gay.
Never really liked that song.
But what would you guitarists say is the hardest song by them to play?
For bass, I'd say Around The World, just cause its so fast and spans the entire length of the bass.
Not fond of the lyrics, but the guitar makes me want to go crazy.

Agreed on the intro, not so much the outro. There's always so much built up energy when they just hit the stage and everyones goin crazy but I didn't really feel the same at the end when they were doing the outro jam.

Just in case you need help...
I've got myself
In a masochistic hold
Why don't you let go
Shake it off
Just to redirect my flow
Come on let's go
Sit up straight
I'm on a double date
I've got to find my way
Into the light, heavy, middle weight
We don't stop rock around the clock
Motor mouthing off
In front of every other road block
Come again and tell me
What you're going thru
Like a girl who only knew
Her child was due
Memories of everything
Of lemon trees on mercury
Come to me with remedies
From five or six of seven seas
You always took me with a smile
When I was down
Memories of everything
That blew thru
Looking up into
A reverse vertigo
What an undertow
Give it up
Another stubborn scorpio
Come on, let's go
Sit up straight
I'm on a double date
I've got to find my way
Into the light, heavy, middle weight
We don't stop rock around the clock
Motor mouthing off
In front of every other road block
Come again and tell me
What you're going thru
Like a girl who only knew
Her child was due
To the moon she gave
Another good review
Turn around and look at me
It's really really you

Here we go
Cabron:
Word in spanish with many different meanings. The real meaning is the male goat. Female is cabra and male is cabron. But slang use is far more common. Depending on countries it seems to have somehow different but similar meanings. A good definiton that would apply in almost all Spanish speaking countries would be asshole-fucker-bitch. In some places the word also means a person that is not with his partner. Example: Se fue de cabron. He went to fuck around. In this way it always has the connotation that he is looking for an affair.
EroticShock
08-03-2007, 05:19 AM

sory that it's not about you are talking about now but I just want to say that I finally listened to OHM. It's pretty good but Dave almost everywhere uses his WAH pedal there... Flea is great , Chad too and AK wrote a pretty good lyrics... and Dave... it's not correct... it's like A A A C <----Dave is C if you know what I mean...
I heard a lot of opinions that John after leaving the Chili Peppers and all that stuff with drugs now is a worse guitar player than before... now I'm listening a lot of Mother's Milk... and it ****ing awesome!!! Well I would say that John knows more about playing and has a better technique now but at MM or BSSM his playing is much more powerful, faster and veeeery funky :D punky, funky, rocky :D
sebastian_96
08-03-2007, 08:58 AM
Yeah, Dave did rape his Wah pedal but it was still an uber pwnage album!
MM and BSSM are easily John's most technical works but I much rather John's new age persona...he seems less of a dick and all. Plus now he can play alot of everything (seeing now he is starting to play some MM songs now!) so new-age John =

My dad wouldnt know quixotic-his english is really bad. Like he read the directions for making pizza. He said "put the pizza on the cookie sh*t(instead of sheet) :p:
Its also a proven fact that rhcp fans in general should be smarter than other fans because in Scar Tissue AK said his dad taught him some really tough vocab like one word a day, so therfore he uses that in his lyrics, and rhcp fans learn those lyrics, therfore increasing their vocab making them more intelligent. I've used quixotic loads of times. No one knows it, they'll be like "what? exotic?" :D
Then a friend of mine heard the word and thought it was cool, she named her band after that word. Not even knowing the meaning!

But yeah another album would be good too.

We need a live album because I bet it'll take another 3-4 years for the next studio album. We need live material! They've got a lot of shows during the SA tour, I hope it's something like Off the Map with the documentary and all. Cool stuff.

Live album/dvd purely for money. They're normally released when a band is at their commerical peak.
I have a really rough recording of a radio acoustic set from that website and they play police helicopter. Though the qualities so bad it gives me a headache.

Yeah. He has balls wearing Laker's gear in New York. I think that bone outfit was an ode to the one John Entwhistle of the Who wore from time to time (could be just a coinceidence).

I know. When I saw RHCP he wore that Lakers gear in the Charlotte Bobcats Arena. I'm surprised he made it out of there alive.

Since when were the Lakers and Bobcats rivals?
And to a few posts above, Wet Sand will never be a single.

East Coast vs. West Coast, foo'! Listen to Tupac. Us NCians don't exactly like the Lakers. Partly because we suck. I'm a Bulls fan anyway and please don't ram that Pistons BS in my face either. That was a rough series.

1. I'm going to rub the Pistons beating the Bulls in your face, cause you know what? Last year was our last good year. We're old, we have no desire, and we signed back that bum Chauncy Billups. We're gonna suck.
2. Like some guy said a few posts above, they would cut off the solo. And that's the part I always orgasm to.
And Charlie isn't a single. They even said it wouldn't be. I remember seeing an interview with Anthony where he said the record label wouldn't let them release it as a single. So let's not get our hopes up.

Hey, don't try and make it look like your sports teams are bad. I live in Pennsly-****ing-vania. We have the worst sports teams in the world. My city treats Pittsburg like our hometown. If you play sports in Pittsburg, you are forced to suck. We have Ben look-at-me-fly-off-my-motorcycle-and-smash-my-head-off-the-pavement Roetlisburger adn whatever slob is playing for the Pirates. We don't even have a pro basketball team for me to rant about!!!/  Sports related rant

I'm downloading the Hamburg Docks '92 bootleg right now. The setlist looks great and funky, but it's '92, so hopely this wasn't around the time John was purposely messing up shows.

Hey, I was just trying to make our basketball team look bad. I'm a University Of Michigan football fan. We have the best program ever. And we've been a successful team every year for the past 50 years. This year? A little iffy...but we'll see. :D
