I think Rush is also going to put out a new album sometime in the not so distant future. And, even though Aerosmith just put out a live album, Joe Perry said they will probably record another studio album.

I'm looking forward to a new Metallica album also.

There are so many great cd's on that list, I'm not even gonna talk about it.

I guess I'm looking mostly forward to Slayer and AC/DC.

Hopefully, Maiden can go back to their old sound with the next one.

Excellent. His last effort, Heathen, was a spectacular return to form. I hope he can follow suit in his next album.

Also, I'm looking forward to new Tool, Muse, and Iron Maiden.

The Pixies? New album? Weird! That'll be interesting.
Don't get too excited. There is a lot of talk about it not happening. I believe that it won't. But I can hope for the best.

I'm excited about the new SY. It's gonna be their last on DGC, so who knows what'll happen after. I'm not too sure I like the name though. They just did Sonic Nurse. Do we really need Sonic Life? I'm still excited. My excitment has not been damaged by the name.

The Offspring's 8th cd was comfirmed a LONG time ago. They recorded 5 or 6 songs for it last year, and they are recording now. One of the songs they recorded last year was a new version of DIRTY MAGIC! (not the acoustic version either!) I believe they recorded those songs at the same time they recorded their cover of Next to You by The Police that was the secret track on Greatest Hits.

02-11-2006, 12:07 PM
The Derek Trucks Band could be good, perhaps I will purchase that one.
Black Sabbath should be...interesting, but I don't think it will be too good, they are better off making it with Dio on vocals, Ozzy just doesn't have it anymore.
Iron Maiden? If it isn't too much like Dance of Death, I am in for that one, wonderful.
Metallica...we can all just pray that it isn't another St. Anger, but I have my doubts.
New Motorhead? Sweet, I didn't know about this one, but I am not expecting any disappointments from them.
Red Hot Chili Peppers I would buy but double cds are too expensive, plus they have lost my respect with that 12 or 13 bonus track stunt they pulled with it.
Slayer, whoever said it was like GHUA, damn... I hope not.
Tool is one I am looking forward to, a lot.

Out of those you listed I'm interested most definately in Radiohead, Chili Peppers, Velvet Revolver and Pearl Jam. I'm also curious to see as to whether Jet and The Killers have more in their systems than a great debut. I think everone's wondering if St. Anger was just a fluke... here's hoping it was. A new, great metallica album would own. There's lots of smaller bands i'm looking forward too as well. This is gonna be a good year for rock.

That was my feelings about it, but apparently they're just going to be used as b-sides for singles now - the right thing to do.
