G maj 7 is usually played;

2 or 10 for the first fingering you have to bar over the second fret, ie.
3 12 put your first finger on the 3rd fret low E and lay it down at an
4 11 angle over the second fret to get the note on the 2nd fret high e.
4 12 then just use your other three fingers to fill in the a minor shape.

C5 add9 is the same as C sus2, and is played most easily as;
