Who here has seen the australian pink floyd show? I saw them in concert the other other night and it was the best show Ive ever been to. They nailed every note, they performed DSOTM in its entirety, and the singer even looks like Dave Gilmour. The bassist/singer sounded exactly like Roger. I paid $50 bucks for front row tickets and it was worth every penny. Its probably the closest we'll ever get to seeing the real Floyd in our lifetime.

^^I wouldn't say he looked like Gilmour, but the Australian Floyd show was pretty damn good

We have one touring England I think, or at least my county. They're named "The Wall", I'm not sure if they're any good...

They do a full Darkside performance, and when they're done with Dark Side, they do other songs off multiple albums.

I know they did Pigs and i think they did Careful With That Axe Eugene. Thats what my friends told me, and they've gone for 3 years in a row.

^Theyre based in Australia...hence the name

I saw them too, the inflateable pig and kangaroo were sweet. They didnt have them last year.

And yeah, they play all of DSOTM, and then DSOTM, from Piper to Division bell, and everything in between.

Good stuff.

Fletcher memorial home was done really well I thought, the dude sung it great.

I saw them a couple of years ago in Northampton (that's in England btw!) They were amazing. They played DSOTM in it's entirety, had a break then carried on with various songs off of other albums. Their visuals are amazing, no planes or massive walls though which is a shame! But they do bring Aussie-ness to pink floyd, I remember they used the Neighbours theme tune at the start of one song, think it might have been Wish You Were Here but I can't remeber. Top class, go see them if you get chance.

I know they did Pigs and i think they did Careful With That Axe Eugene man, Pigs would have been awesome. When I saw them, they did Dark Side, Shine On, Welcome to the Machine, CWTA, E, Sorrow, Keep Talking, WYWH, Comfortably Numb, and possibly one or two more that I can't remember...

Great show overall

to the dude who was talking about the Canadian one called Comfortably Numb, they are doing a show in Toronto sometime soon I believe, in a month or 2.

Haven't seen this australian one, but i have seen the Classic Albums Live performance for Dark Side of the Moon, which was followed by about 7-10 other Floyd songs, it was fantastic. Heheeee they even help up an alarm clock to the mic for the beginning of Time and everything.

Aussie Floyd is awesome. I saw them exactly one week ago. They totally tricked us (the audience) at the end though. They went off for about a minute, then came back on and said "Would you like to hear one more?" and played Comfortably Numb. After that, they went off again, and snuck back on stage then blew everyone away with In the Flesh? and The Happiest Days of Our Lives/ABITW Pt. 2.

They've played Sheep and Pigs (Three Different Ones) at gigs that I've been to. I've been to four now and they filmed the last one at the Royal Albert Hall in London so I'm gonna have to go a fifth time to buy the new DVD :)

I saw Aussie Floyd two years in a row. They're just so cool. If you close your eyes, the difference is so little. I swore i was listening to Gilmour's voice . Worth every penny.

I just saw them last week in Chicago and they were just amazing. It was my first time seeing them and I cant wait to go again. They said they improved the light show and that it only gets better as time goes by and it was defiantly a top notch show. The musicianship was flawless and they play a good variety of songs from different albums after they play their main one. After DSOTM I got to hear songs from Pigs to Set the Controls to the Heart of the Sun to Take it Back to Nobody Home. Awesome show dont hesitate to go if they come around your area.
