What's the difference between jumbo, medium and all the other sizes, and why would i choose a certain size of fret?

Jumbo frets are taller and sometimes wider.

there for it supposedly makes fretting easier cause youdont have to push as far down.

I think jumbos are basically like scalloped frets without the scalloping, but don't quote me on that.

Which is dumb because you can just lower the action

a jumbo fretwire is higher off the board. u dont press down as hard on the fret to get the note ur looking for. so you shouldnt have to mash the fretboard to hit the note.
so, u can grip the string better, which makes it easier to bend a string or do other techniques.

jumbo frets arent as extreme as scalloping of course, but its the same principle. ^with that board u only fret to get the note, ur not pressing all the way down to the board.
