I dont know the exact tuning, but he stacks the 2 standard tunings, E9 and C6 so he can get pretty much every sound the instrument can produce.

Saw him this summer at a festival, cuz I had 2 hours to burn before the band I came to see went on, I was so cranked up after the concert I, left the next band cuz it was bringin down my energy. RRFB is the ****

i saw him on crossroads guitar festival and i saw him open for the blind boys of alabama on pbs, amazing guy, i love his playing. he even got me to check out lap steel guitar, i checked one out at my friend's guitar store, looks way too hard for me...too many pedals and levers, i think i'll just stick with regular guitar.

**** I LOVE THIS GUY!

His band and him are seriously going to single handedly saved blues/funk. I voted for Colorblind on UG's album of the year. You guys should have too and maybe it would bring him more attention. Oh well maybe next year.

I saw him on the Crossroads DVD and thought him/his band were great. Then I bought Colorblind and hated it.

Hey everyone, I'm a genuine fan of Robert Randolph but I am admittedly also a
member of Assembly of Dust's street team. Forgive the intrusion. If you
don't already know AOD they are giving away the track “Leadbelly” featuring
Jerry Douglas of Allison Krauss & Union Station on their site
http://www.aodust.com. It’s worth giving a listen to! AOD is giving away a new
track every Tuesday until July 14th featuring artists like Mike Gordon, John
Scofield, Richie Havens, Al Schnier and more! Again sorry if this feels
spammy but I was eager to share the news!

Sincerely,

Maressa Ryan

Hey everyone!
I'm first and foremost a fan Phish, but I am admittedly also a member of Assembly of Dust's street team; forgive the intrusion. If you don't already know AOD they are giving away the track “Arc of the Sun” featuring Mike Gordon (of Phish) on their site http://www.aodust.com Its worth giving a listen to! AOD is giving away a new track every Tuesday until July 14th featuring artists like Jerry Douglas, John Scofield, Richie Havens, Al Schnier and more! Again sorry if this feels spammy, but I was eager to share the news.
