Nice use of dynamics, going from quiet to loud. Oh, and I love the walking bass line.

A -5-
E -5-

to:

D -7-
A -5-
E -5-

That way the chords remain consistent throughout the heavier section.

It makes me happy to see people like you post things like this, but because I'm supposed to be angry I'm going to have to on a scale of 1 to 10 rate this riff 2.3...out of a billion haha its a piece of **** (no it's actually pretty good).

I just realized that my post didn't make a whole lot of sense after I changed it. I was suggesting that you add in that octave to give it more consistency.
