As of now it is just piano, 2 guitars, bass and drums. but i am adding a bunch of other stuff in now including bells and a vocal melody and am changing some of the beats a lil.

I like the double bass, hehe, Don't see that in a midi often.
Didn't really get boring at any point, nice guitar fills, some really kickass riffs.
Would be an awesome song to see live, what with all that double bass ^^

Also if you could check out my latest thing and give me any tips or criticism

Nice song, some of the double bass seems a bit too fast in a few places, if it can possibly played.

The guitars are cool and the piano is a nice touch. Good work :D

How do you write your songs, do you start with a guitar riff and expand on that?

Man this song is sick!! I love it. Kinda has this distinct sound to it. The soloish part at like 22 seconds is awesome. Has that trivium style mixed in with an older midevil sound that comes after it. Amazing.

Its Awesome, Id definately Buy it anyday! I loved the drums and some of those licks were awesome, one thing i didnt like was that little random sweep that comes it just before the chorus cos it seems to come in at the wrong place of finish at the wrong place.

Also please crit my latest metalcore song:

Guitar sounds a bit too bright for metalcore. Maybe just my style.
Still sounds good.
Piano.. eh. I really dont think it fits very well.
Drums sound pretty good. Ahaha. I sense some As I Lay Dying double-bass influence there.

Yea. The appregiated piano chords (that's what they sound like to me) really dont fit well for me.

Guitar work is good. The piano goes better with the clean part (I think I heard piano there?)
Liked the solo. Piano harmonizing actually went pretty well.

Overall, I liked it. Not bad.

Mind critting mine?

Woah that was sweet. Is that double bass even playable? Anyway, intro was pretty cool, as well as that piano part right after it. The rest of the song was awesome. I liked the solo part was pretty sweet, but I didn't really like the piano/guitar part right after it. But the outro after that part was cool.

8.75/10

Crit mine? It's in the sig.
