What crawled up your arse and died, n00b? The kid was only warning someone. Ironically, it was about folks like you.

When I read the thread title I instantly thought 'Burn' by Purple. AWESOME riff. That song demonstrated not only their songwriting and construction skills, but the band's virtuosity.

now to me, theres two ways of thinking about this... if ur thinking of most.. known, famous, most overplayed riffs then it would be like iron man, smoke on the water, highway to hell/back in black, crazy train, black dog, and OBVIOUSLY cat scratch fever

but personaly to me..
Love gun by kiss, stone cold crazy by queen, holy wars and peace sells by megadeth, dont get me started on metallica, and Regular People (Conceit) by pantera

Just a note to those who put Black Dog, Jimmy Page isn't the one who came up with it, it was actually Jonesy. Probably the best riff he came up with too.
