The second guitar is just the bass. Tell me what you think. (Put lots of heavy distortion on and use heavy palm muting)

Lol :) Ty

I'm kinda stuck. I dunno how to write a melody that will fit well over the top of it.

i'm in the same boat as you, i had a little go at making up a melody line to go with it and i couldn't. Keep trying it sounds good.

looks like a generic metal riff. needs some original sounding hooks over it if you want it to be good.

Please, elaborate what you mean :)

Btw, added some more stuff.

I believe I can have a pretty chunky ass riff after the last part.

pretty cool, it would be good to be played as the rhythm behind vocals. pretty good htough

Came up with another riff. Tell me what you think please.

Its not a bad start, like somone said earlier it does sound a little generic. It needs its own flavor on either your guitar or the second guitar, something that sets song apart from others. Obviously once you get your drummer to play something with it, youll have a better idea on where to go with it, works that way with me at least.

dude, in your sig, that riff of yours, how do u get it to...make that sound..lol, sounds real newbieish, but then again, this is my 2ns post, is it just a lot of reverb?

I like the second riff, but instead of going back into the original riff afterwrds, use riff 2 as a pre-chorus, and then make up a chorus riff to go with it :)

Cheers :) I guess you mean the last riff.

Here's an update with my own "sound" added to it.

I liked it.Simple but sweet.
I cant see a melody line over that,i think vocals would be better for it.
Would be nice to see a full song around it.

Cheers. I was thinking of using one of the riffs to solo over. One problem though. I can't write a solo, plainly because of the fact that I don't know how to. Help please?

i listened to the last powertab and i must say i'm quite fond of it!! like they said it's pretty simple and genreric, but that doesn't seem to matter, it's good. The only thing you have to do is fix you powertab so that everything is correct!

Thanks ;)

I've added a rather simple intro.

Got any tips on solo writing?

Not Bad, i'm not to keen on the intro, but i still like it...well done. i like how it comes in after the intro, lyrics would work wonders to this.

PS: TO *'-'*, Your Sig is So Right!!!!!

What do you think I could change for the intro?

PsychoFreak, the acoustic guitar in the intro is a good idea, but the chords sound a little off for some reason. It would probably sound great live, though. I'm guessing the solo to this song will be awesome.

Pretty rough draft that doesn't have an interlude. I'll add that in at a later date.
