Bedouin Soundclash
They're more reggae-ish.

Whatever they are, they deserve to be worshipped. They're amazing, and incredibly nice guys too. Listen to them lots!!

My favourite bigger bands are probably Mad Caddies, RX Bandits, Skankin' Pickle, and Capdown.

I usually listen to smaller UK bands though.

If you want more of a mellow type of ska that you can chill to, listen to before you go to sleep you should check out stuff from the second wave (2tone) The Specials, Madness ect most the other bands have been said too.

If your wanting something more punk-ska you should check out Choking Victim, Leftover Crack.

ASOB is cool so is most ska-core bands, Big D also. I like the Slackers a lot, and other ska I listen to is the Specials. I'm sorta picky when it comes to ska. If it sounds too annoying and high pitched, like LTJ and some RBF, I get annoyed and turned away from it.

Check their myspace (myspace.com/bombthemusicindustry) it has all the dates for a few months. I get to see them in Febuary, too.

They got like...half of it up on their myspace account.
I'm not sure if you can download the songs though.

I'm suprised (from what I've heard)
They're still pretty poppy, but the song "Disappointment at the Taco Bell" is really good (maybe it's because Dave from Big D is singing in it, haha).

There are lots of ska-core bands that make me quiver.
But that can be said with bands of all genres!

If you like the Slackers, look up Go Jimmy Go. I saw them a few nights ago and was terribly reminded of them. They were really good.

EDIT: Oh jeez, just listen to NY518. haha.

jay tea told me they might break up in april... playing their last show at The Downtown. i hope this is either a lie or just speculation... i saw ASOB back in october for the first time, it was ****ing awsome i wish i had gone to see the other times i had the opportunity. i wanted to go see them on the 15th at CBGB, but my friend didnt want to go, and i didnt want to go alone. they even played with The Fad (who kick ass) and The Flaming Tsunamis, also pretty good. but i want to go see BTMI! for free :)

Yeah, I don't think it's true, being that the Downtown has been closed for 5 months.

he said they still own it just dont have any shows. he said they're looking for someone to buy the lease and no one has bought it, and even if they do, they wouldnt be out of there by Feb. they can have a show there whenever they feel like. if you go on the website, the doors were just closed, but people have still been owning it for the past 5 months
