Here's a tune I put together while at work. As usual, no idea as far as the genre goes. It was made with a bass riff I came up with in mind and that's about it. I made it using another program and imported it into powertab. The midi is better because it has drums and the parts are just as I wrote them. Enjoy and comment away.

Thanks dude. I take it you listened to the powertab version. If you listen to the midi version it actually fades out at the end.

That was bliss. Absolutely sweet :D I liked the way that it never got boring or repetitive.

It's catchy, so good job. Just out of interest, how long did it take you to make and what was the other program you used? It sounds like videogame music to me, which is definitely a plus.

Thanks. I used a program called Noteworthy Composer.

Most people say my music sounds like video game music, but when someone posted saying that my song sounded like movie music, I told him about what people usually say. He said that "Most uneducated people say that. They don't understand MIDI tbh."

It's tough to say how long it took. Quite a while though. I made it at work and had to come back to it a lot because I didn't want to get caught.

Pft, I actually listen to videogame music, and I can tell you that this piece would fit a soundtrack perfectly. Videogame music isn't referring specifically to chiptunes; it's a lot like film music in that it can be as "random" as you like, as long as it would accompany a scene appropriately. It's a little too simple and playful for movie music, but that's exactly the kind of music I enjoy. Well done.

Amazing. Loved the panning and the different volumes of the instrutments. The riff, piano, bass, everything. Only problem that I had was the part around measure 49 (the slow part) got repetitive.

this is...bliss, it's great, and lol, it would sound good in a video game, no offense meant of course. I dont have the skills to orchestrate that many sounds, instruments and all, and make them sound good, that is quite honestly a masterpiece

zephyrclaw, i know what you meant and agree. that's funny that you call it playful. i wouldn't have ever thought to describe it in that way.

aaa the band, thanks a lot. i actually made this on a computer that i can't use anymore. i liked how it sounded on that computer, but on others it doesn't sound as good. i can especially notice different dynamics in the last section with the solo bass being really soft. glad you liked it so much though.

saddam, thanks, i've checked out some of your stuff and it looks like you've got some solid composition skills.

i'm thinking about recording this for a music class. does anyone have any suggestions as for what to change besides making the middle section less repetitive?

I like the sixteenth note runs. They make it seem kind of frantic. The main theme is really cool. I like it a lot. The middle did get a little old, but the beginning and the end were cool. I guess it would sound good in a video game.

Overall, I like it a lot.
