i was just wondering, but have any of you played a show when the crown was to load and you needed monitors. Also do you prefer floor or in ear?

In ear ones will completely **** up your hearing, much faster than the standard floor monitors.

yes i have played many shows with moniters, i have only used floor ones though. maybe just me, but i find it insanely hard to play without being able to hear yourself.

man i hate in-ears.

at my church i played a service to 3800 people with inears.

it was terrible.

even though the sound qual was good, they hurt sooooo bad

especially because my ears are small on the inside.

it might have just been the ones i used

dunno

but i definitely prefer wedges (floor)

question: can you use speakers and turn them on their sides, and use them as monitors?

some speakers. ^

if they have a diagonal back, they are probably ment for it

(if you can tilt it laying down to face up)

hope that makes sence

If in-ear ones are bad for you, why do a lot of bands use them?
