Im not sure if this goes here, but its the closest to alternative i guess.

Ive been listening to them lately, and they are amazing.

I just wanted to see if you guys like them, and if u havent heard them, give em a listen.....and tell me if u do like them.

Best songs in my opinion are ¨Close Encounters¨ ¨Summer¨¨I know you are but what am i?¨¨Burn Girl Prom Queen¨

I bought "Happy Songs..." upon hearing Hunted By A Freak, but I can't stand the rest of the album.

i don't know if i'm allowed to say this, but the new albums is as good as anything off young team.

i've got tickets to see them 5 days before i see sigur ros

I'll be seeing them live in May. That is an experience and it's best in a small venue.

Anyway, check out their longer epics especially. My Father, My King is one of the best but also Christmas Steps and Mogwai Fear Satan. Somewhat shorter tunes such as Stanley Kubrick, Ratts of The Capital, Ex-Cowboy, Superheroes of BMX and Kids Will Be Skeletons among others should be given a listen as well. Pretty much all their songs are good and they are some different sounds or emotions to be had from each.

burn girl prom queen brings tears to my eyes. it and summer are some of my favorite songs... despite your screen name selection you have relatively good taste in mogwai related affairs geo

they're fine.
i have six of their albums but i can't take any more than ten songs.

they're very talented musicians and i appreciate them, but they can be a little boring.

Boring?!

Then why the hell do you have SIX of their albums?! Lol. That's saying, the Sugababes are fine, but I think they're sh!t and I still have all of their albums!

i am a very patient gal when it comes to music.
there's just something about mogwai that makes me a bit antsy.

i think they produce quality music, i just think they can become a little dull.

i do say that i realy enjoy "Yes! I Am A Long Way From Home".
that's probably my favorite song of theirs.

The set was perfect though, lovely blend of old and new tracks.

Im tempted to go see them in France with 65days and Wolfeyes.

yes, it was lovely.

i had a pair of nutters in front of me though who were very loud. i could actually hear them shouting during the loud bits of mogwai fear satan, which gives some impression of how obnoxious they were.

and i imagine with 65days and wolfeyes thatd be super cool.

I don't know, whenever I listen to Mogwai, it's usually when I'm reading.
If I ever have to read for school and whatnot, I just put on a Mogwai album and keep reading until it ends.

There's also the times where it's just awesome to listen to Mogwai during long drives through cold rainy nights.
