"Dying in Your Arms" by Trivium...pretty easy song, solo may be a bit challenging but oh well...if you guys can't play that then you don't deserve to be in battle of the bands...but if you must play a slow, easy, powerchord-filled song, then go with "Self Esteem" by Offspring

I know that I can play stuff 10x harder than what we are doing now but my drummer and bassist want to play easy songs

if your bands not that good but u can shine then you could maybe play some darkness songs, easy as **** and the crowd likes it, your only challenge might be the singer

Skull-The Misfits or Last Caress-The Misfits

Nice upbeat punk songs, easy to play.

definately go with fast upbeat songs that make people wanna dance

and its a much muuuuch better idea to play easy songs well than to play hard songs badly

^ you got any ideas?, im thiinkin misfits if my drummer can handle it

well i know greenday is taboo to metalheads, but basketcase is a grrreat idea, if you can't handle that one (the strumming pattern has always seemed a little tricky to get just right) than try the misfits song (I'v never heard it, but hey, go for it)

everyone knows greenday too, and everyone loves that song (even if you say you don't i know you do, its just as bad as Since You Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson)
