has anyone besides me, listen to the master of modes and the most unreal jazz fusionist ever! this mans albums are hard to get! but he is well worth listening to! he taught people like eric clapton!!!: what you say... o yes its true!! not in his younger years though! he has a guitar school owned by him somewhere in england i think!

i have a few albums sumwhere. i got in2 him through that modes:no more mysteries dvd which i was a bit disapointed with but he is very skilled.

You should watch Chick Corea Elektric Band - Live at Montreux 2004. Chick Corea with the original members of the band, including Gambale, of course. It's awesome.

You should watch Chick Corea Elektric Band - Live at Montreux 2004. Chick Corea with the original members of the band, including Gambale, of course. It's awesome.

Not to be an asshole, but save your money on that if you're watching Gambale only (Patittuci and Chick Corea are great on this one). His new stuff is absolutely rubish, he only plays fast licks and builds up tension but he doesn't solve it. He just starts a new run down the neck. Instead of that you should check out his older stuff.

yeah i agree with that last post, yet his older albums are just masterpieces,My favourite being, "Passages," its worth a listen!

I was just down in Canberra this week (wear Gambale is from). :rolleyes:

He is amazing, but I dont like his sig Yamaha's.... but the Ibanez's pwn :liplick:
