So this guy that goes to my highschool goes to some private music school. Well, He filled out an application to get lessons from Alex Liefson.... and got in. Holy ****, hes going to be in a group clinic with Alex Liefson teaching. Some people are just so lucky  . I just felt like sharing that.

Not really. Famous musicians often give public clinics all the time. If it were one on one lessons with Lifeson, then yeah. He would be one lucky son of a bitch.

On a side note, i just got invited to play with a blues band in my high school in Chicago in fornt of 10,000 people.

10,000 people...I cant even fathom playing in front of that many people.

I know, I've played in front of like 200 people, but thats the highest. Plus, i have to play leads and stuff, not just rhythm blues.

But all the people who have done gigs that big have told me you don't even notice people after the first 500 or so.

IMO,you're luckier than the guy who's getting lessons from Alex Lifeson.

I know, but I only have a week to get ready, learn all of "Stormy Monday" and a crap-ola of scales.

How many scales could you need for that? I was under the impression it was all minor pentatonics with some blue notes thrown in there.
