Hello All,

Hope you may be able to help. ive just bought a new house and im doing up my room. For the walls id like to put up some prints/canvas, i was thinking of some classic rock inspired pics. I would definitely like the cover to the pink floyd album Animals, as well as maybe the velvet underground and nico album, or something similar.

So 1) Any suggestions on very cool album covers, keep it classy, i plan to have women in this room, he he.

and 2) anyone know of any online stores that sell that kind of thing.

Cheers

Beat

You gotta get the album cover for Queen's A Night At The Opera, and A Day At The Races.

Both album covers are very classy looking. I totally recommend them.

Get some Grateful Dead artwork; it's some of the coolest stuff I've seen. I don't mean just the album covers or anything, they've got some good work that has skeletons and such that you can find on different websites. It's really cool stuff.

Most Yes albums would be cool, ones such as Fragile and Relayer are my personal favorites.

Also, my friend/bassist got some vinyls and just tacked them onto his walls. Most of them are well-known albums such Abbey Road, Zep IV, etc.

Some other good ideas would be to get some concert posters (if you can), maybe The Allman Brothers at the Fillmore East for example.

All I've got in my room right now are a Hendrix and Zeppelin poster. I'd really like to decorate more, but my room already has a "theme" from long ago, and my parents don't want me to change it really. I'm only at home for three years before college anyways.

allposters.com (http://www.allposters.com)

This place has a bunch of posters, i dont know if they come with frames, but you could probably get frames for them or something like that

As for recommedations i would go with any led zeppelin album covers you can find

Haha, I always notice that one in the background on That 70's Show. It's in The Hub, the place where they always eat, below the window where the food is picked up.

But anyway.. I agree about the Grateful Dead artwork. There is an incredible poster with 100 song references squeezed in. Trying to find them all is fun.

And also, that Pink Floyd poster with the girl's backs painted like album covers is pretty manditory for a classic rock fan I'm pretty sure. :D

If the Red Hot Chili Peppers is counted as classic then early artwork, like the uplift mofo party plan type covers, and the ever kick ass by the way cover

anything with Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd (they have the best album work IMO)

not classic rock but Radiohead's OK Computer has a sweet cover as well.

Adding to the post from above...

The Relayer album cover; very Middle Earth like in my opinion.

Also, don't forget the Blind Faith album. ;)
