Hello,
Im sure if you looking in this classical rock forum that your all familiar with Pink Floyd. well you now at the end of sheep , by end i mean last spearated section. I just have to say that is my favourate moment in any song ever.just that last minute or 2 of the song that has David Guilmour sturming them chords so violently and roger waters with hs simple octave leaps in his bass
well as i should stop describing that sectionid like to ask
what id you favourate moment or section in any classic rock song?
thank you :D

I'm like anyone, I love the "Brick in the wall" all parts, play them anywhere, a party, barmitsvah, KKK meeting (kidding), and everyone can relate to the goodness that its pink floyd. Thats why I love them.

haha
when i first saw this thread i thought "the end of sheep" was some obscure san francisco psychedelic band LOL
anyway, i know the bit you mean
pink floyd have many of them
in the gunners dream when roger scream out "hold onto the dream" and his voice seems to melt into the sax solo, thats bloody great
also on live a pompeii, pretty much everything dave does, but especially the big bends on 11th fret in that sorta funky section of echoes
and in a saucerful of secrets just before celestial voices starts and hes playing with his pedals and his guitar lets out a scream that sounds like an evil gas vent or something :)

NICE!! I was gonna mention that. I listened to it the other night with my girlfriend. She had never heard it before, but she loves the Wall. Turns out she loves The Final Cut too. Amazing album. I also love the part in the final cut (the song) when it suddenly turns slow and Waters sings "And if I show you my dark side..." There is just so much emotion and desperation in his voice. In fact there are SO many memorable moments on that album. I think it's a f*cking masterpiece.

i like the intro in sheep, when its so dark and mysterious with the organ, and then the cymbal like fades in and it gets fast, thats awesome, also in sheep when the robotic voice comes in, i cant make out what its saying but its awesome...

Some of my absolute favorite moments in music are:
Sheep (outro)
Dogs (outro..."Who was...")
Starship Trooper- Yes (Wurm...outro)
Brain Damage-->Eclipse (Eclipse is the perfect ending for such a great album)

I love...
The breakdowns between the solos in Money (Pink Floyd).
The change into the main riff in Siberian Khatru (Yes).
The part that is played for a few minutes after the lyrical part of Terrapin Station (Grateful Dead).
The part of the solo for Good Morning Little School Girl where Alvin plays a riff and the drums start back up (Ten Years After).
The main riff for Heartbreaker - it NEVER gets old (Led Zeppelin).
The sweet drum fill-->chorus-->orgasmic solo of Space Truckin' (Deep Purple).
Those are some of my more favorite musical pieces in Classic Rock songs.

I love the chords in "The Final Cut" theyre just so simple, but in a way the seem almost childlike in simplicty, just reminds of something from nursery or something. Its nice anyway =D

Well there are far too many, but I will say my favourites from Animals, since that is the album you chose. The soloing at the end of Pigs, it is brilliant, I always get lost in it, so flawless.
Also the part about 4 minutes into dogs (when he does that one hell of a bend... mmmm).
