The one on the right is a Fender P-Bass, 1984 or 1985, I can't remember.

I actually like it a lot, I've been a fender man for years now and then I made the switch over after I bought it off one of my friends who was moving to college and decided he didn't have any room for it. It plays great for being old and its in beautiful condition.

A little history on my Rick: It used to belong to David Santos. He's toured with Billy Joel, John Fogarty, Aaron Neville and a few others. I emailed him after I got it. I wanted a pic of him playing it but he said he didn't have any.

The rig is a Mesa 400+ in an eight-space rack full of stuff, a GK 800RB used for recording, and a '91 Ampeg 8x10 cab. I'll have pics of that as soon as I can relocate the cab to a more photo-suitable location :[

I just got the Warwick on Sunday, after about a month of tedious payments, and then finally a $300 loan I need to pay back to the Bank of Dad. Believe me, it was NOT cheap; it's a 1995 Fortress One in Honey Violin, in totally new/mint condition, which apparently is pretty rare. When I played it, it was like having sex with a sonic goddess, and therefore HAD to have it, or else some rich 14-year-old would get it and probably end up destroying it. Also, even rarer than the rare finish is it's extreme flamey-ness. The picture literally only shows about half the flame. It's THAT figured.
So yeah, not $50. More like $1300. but they did give me a free magazine and Elrick strings :haha

Welcome to the fan-hood of Warwick Fortress basses. That one is absolutely gorgeous, I'm jealous. How does the low B handle? Ive never been able to get my hands on a 5 string F1.
And yes, they only made them from about 93-98, so they are fairly rare. It's a shame they discontinued them.

It's got fairly heavy strings on it, so the low B is pretty tight and responsive. Through my GK and Mesa heads, each low note is discernable.

Damn nice bass, but I have personally seen many mid to late 90's Fortress Ones (as well as Fortress Mastermans) go for less than $700 USD on Ebay and Craigslist.
For example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Warwick-Fortress-Bass-Guitar-1995_W0QQitemZ120223338688QQihZ002QQcategoryZ64401QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
(Not a great example as this particular bass has quite a bit of wear and tear. However, I have seen several fortresses in almost mint condition go for a similar price.)

Its not much, only a beginner rig really. I almost feel ashamed to post it with all the amazing basses in this thread. But just thought I'd put some pictures i just took up here.
Here's my Yamaha RBX 270. Decent bass. Only a beginner one, but it does the job, at least while I save up for another. Got blue DR strings as a Christmas present, only got around to putting them on now. Sorry for the not so great picture quality.

My amp. Just an Ashdown MAG, nought fancy. My first amp actually. Was using a borrowed little Rocket 30 watt combo before this. I now kind of think I should have just gotten a really good combo instead of an alright half stack, but it does do the job, and has some really nice slap and warm tones.
http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a276/Oz_Ryan/oisnbassstuff001.jpg

Hey man, thats mad, I'm actually currently saving up for that Ibanez, but the four string version. Can I just ask you how is it for bright and slap tones with the Ashdown? I'm kind of looking for something thatll play metal and lighter funk stuff too. Reply to me by private message if you like, so as not to clutter up this thread with off topic discussion.
And my ashdown is covered in carpet stuff, if that helps man. I don't know much about amp covering materials.

I agree, Indie. I think it's the old version, not the new American Standard. Puma, that string spacing is tight. That's the same as my Schecter. I'm loving the room between the strings my Spector has now, I just have to become accustomed to it all over again.
EDIT: NICE 70's reissue there! I love those things. Fender would sell a million more basses if the re-introduced black block inlays. You can't beat the look of a black pickguard on a black P-bass with a maple fretboard and black block inlays. I don't know if one was ever made, but that's my dream Fender.

Alright, so it's my Fender BXR300c, which is an old fender amp which stopped production in 1991, or something like that. And then my spector Q5, and then my squire jagmaster, and my thunder bird. ¬_¬, my crate practice amp, and my chorus CE-2 pedal, made in japan. :) Supposedly, that's the best chorus pedal boss ever made.

So I got an Ibanez BTB556MP hung on my wall and a Jay Turser P-Bass which I've made into a fretless. It needs new strings badly. My amp is a Peavey TNT130 which was made in 1986. As for pedals, I got a Russian Big Muff Pi which was modified for real bypass and A/C jack and I also have a Dunlop Crybaby 105Q. What's the blue box on my amp? Alcohol swabs that I use to keep my strings clean.

Here's the latest...

...Ibanez BTB300. Feeling a little sorry for herself, but nothing a good fettle won't sort. Consider this a 'before' pic.

Thanks. I got it on eBay for $900 and saw that it retailed for $1800, so I took a shot at it and won without anyone else bidding.
Edit: It was made in 2005
