[FONT=Franklin Gothic Medium]Which grunge band was the best? Why is it the best? I would really like to know! And I don't mean any of the post-grunge crap. I mean original Seattle Sound, mother-fu**er!!! Could you also tell me if you think if modern day punk rock or grunge rock is better? Which grunge band was the most successful one? It doesn't just have to be just Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam or Soundgarden. You could also have and talk about Screaming Trees, Tad, Green River, Love Battery, Mad Season, Malfunkshun, Mono Men, Mother Love Bone, Mudhoney, My Sister's Machine, Tad, The U-Men, Temple of the Dog and Willard if you wanna. As a matter of fact, I would prefer if you were to talk about those lesser-known bands! That would be great! :rasta:

I would have to say Pearl Jam.. I mean nirvana kurt died they broke up even if he didn't die they would of broken up soon kurt was just out of it. Alice in Chains isn't far behind Pearl Jam but their singer died and i really don't know what they are up to now.

Alice in Chains was the best but Nirvana was the most successful.

Alice In Chains is my favorite. Layne and Jer's vocal harmonies were just so beautiful, and their songs all differed from each other. They had a classic rock/metal feel to them. I also liked Nirvana because they had some awesome punks songs, Mudhoney, Mother Love Bone (amazing singer Wood was. They sounded like glam rock meets punk. It was brilliant.), and Screaming Trees.
