They were pretty awsome and i think its awsome that the drummer kept doing what he loved, even after loosing an arm.

Pretty cool band from what I heard (Hysteria is the only album of theirs I have) and Rocket is probably my favourite song. They're a nice 'poppier' change from what I'm used to listening too.

I really do like rock of ages the video is pretty good for the time it was made in. has anyone noticed the part where Joe all of a sudden opens his eyes wide in the middle of the video.

Def Leppard had 2 or 3 solid albums in the 80's, but they need to stop at that. They're comparable to Bon Jovi right now, they had some good albums back in the day, and want to continue making money off it, so they're making pop-rock albums.

man not where i live we classify classic rock as, def lepard, ACDC , pink floyd...ect... all in the same category. if a band was in the late 70`s and all through the 80`s then its classic rock.....prob different where u live man.

No I just mean't that this thread is in the 80's, shred and progressive when it's classic rock, even though I don't say it's classic rock...

Not thinking in those terms? It couldn't be anymore obvious what he was talking about . I'm the last person to catch onto little details and even I got it at first glance.

Im not a huge Def Lepard fan, but I think its class that the drummer carried on doing what he wanted to do, and hes a good inspiration to us all

Def Leppard was, and still is an awesome band! I have 5 of their albums and two of their live DVD's. For those who hate them should take a good listen to them. I bet you'll love at least 1-2 of their songs. I've proven my friends wrong on that, too. They didn't think they would ever like Def Leppard, but all it took was one song to change their mind. I must say, the name of that song was "Rock of Ages." It's a good song, but they've done lots more than that. It's so hard trying to learn a Def Leppard song, 'cause they have so many that's good. I stuck with "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and "Photograph." Though, I also have to point out "Foolin" as another great song. There's just way too many good ones to list.

I think you're referring to their album called "Vault." That was a CD of their greatest hits from '80-'95. It's a great CD, but it's just too hard to release a greatest hits CD for Def Leppard, 'cause they have so many great songs.
