I have 30 bucks for a cd. i want to get a blues cd. suggest one cd that i should get.

Yea, blues can be pretty cheap since no one listens to it, but my suggestion is Robert Johnson: The Complete Recordings. If you dont like delta blues, pick up some BB King, or some Muddy Waters or something like that.

allman brothers - Eat a peach. a bare essential if your gonna own blues music.

i also have a Best Of for SRV, thats an incredible collection of tunes, live and studio.

I agree with Irish Tour '74 by Rory Gallagher. I just got Calling Card for my birthday, and that's good too. Johnny Winter - Second Winter would be a good choice, plus you could afford the Deluxe Edition with $30 (I highly recommend it). Or you could pick up some Roy Buchanan.

Not $30 but I bought this when I first was getting into the blues and It really opened my eyes to all different kinds of blues.
