I'm only 23 so I'm sure I haven't heard half of the great bands out there from the 50s-80s..

Well, pretty much the only bands that haven't been mentioned yet are Supertramp and Three Dog Night...so...yeah... I'd recomend you check them out if you're into less hard, art rock stuff.
