What do you think of it? I think it's pretty cool, but I wish Clapton played his Les Paul like he did back in Cream. It sounds better on the Les Paul. But it's still pretty cool.

He used an SG with Cream, the Les Paul was when he played with John Mayall and The Bluesbreakers.

Didn't he use both in Cream? I know he used the SG on Sunshine of Your Love, but wasn't Crossroads on a Les Paul?

I'm not sure actually, I thought he only used an SG during Cream, but it's highly likely that you could be right.

I remeber him using a (hollow body?) les paul during a song or two with cream.

I do know that he did use the SG, and also another hollow Body Electric Gibson if I'm not mistaken. The E-45 or whatever, kind of like the one BB King plays, but I can't remember the model name. I'm not compltely sure about the Les Paul though.

I think he used the Paul on the first album and then after that his SG and 335. I'm pretty sure the 335 was used on Crossroads.

he used a les paul in the beginning, but eventually went on with playing on the SG. for a few occasions he used the ES335 and Gibson firebird.

They said when they got back together they tried using there old gear but it didnt feel right. So Clapton used his strat, in my opinion his tone on the DVD was incredible especially Stormy Monday. And Jack Bruce didnt use his SG looking body Bass.

John Mayer has one of those Cream ES's
