Dissociatives in 04 and the Foo Fighters in 05.

Missed out on seeing Satch last year :( I only found out he was in Australia the week after he left because my guitar teacher was telling me how good the concert was.

But I'm hanging out for a G3 down under. Satch said on his site that they are already planning it. :liplick:

Wish i couldve seen more than i have. but all ive seen that is worth mentioning is this pink floyd tribute concert by several species. it was amazing. i was 11 at the time and by far the youngest person there. had an awesome time. by about 2 in the morning i ended up falling asleep laying against the bar and someone spilled their beer all over me. pretty much brought the whole pink floyd experience together. went home that morning smelling like beer and smoke. still cant get that smell out of my shirt.

I couldn't list them all, its hundreds. I got to festivals every year and I go to gigs all the time.

The best performances I've seen are David Gilmour and Muse. 2 amazing live bands.

14, but my dad took me to his gigs ever since I was a baby. He played almost every weekend around here when he wasn;t recording or touring. So seeing someone else play fast doesn't have that initial shock value as it does to most people.

Same with the G3 in 1997. I wasn't really old enough to fully comprehend the level of virtuosity I was seeing though, but hey, it counts.

Got him to look striaght at me and smile when i yelled "you kick classical ass", got him to salute me cuase he was saluting the crowd, and i saluted him back he looked at me and laugh. then he tore thestrings off his guitar during that feed back solo threw them in the crowd, i caught the b string.

duuuuuudee didn't Iron Maiden headline (also?) Cause that concert sounds/looks like an awesome performance but there's only like 5 tracks from it they've released officially and I can't even get my hands on those because they come in a 100 box set. Plus I know they played more cause the Clairvoyant music video uses the footage of them playing it there but uses the studio audio :(

Basically...I just wanna know how they were, if you can remember what songs they played, and if you know where I can get my hands on the full set list :)

Only real big names I've been to have been Buckethead really most of the other stuff was pretty local. I almost went to go see Vai on two occasions, and even bought tickets for Satch(He comes to San Diego a lot for some reason : /), but I then foudn out about a week before the show... it was at a bar, and wasn't old enough too go. :( I got to listen to him play though still. They played the whole concert live on the Rock station. Was pretty sweet, and the next best thing to seeing him. :)
