Hey, I've got hold of a totally black guitar and im hoping to paint the face of Frank(The bunny from Donnie Darko) on the body, it will take the whole body including the pickups. Is it possible to paint over pickups? If it helps im using acrylic paint...

Thanks

buy a tube with bristles on the end, put paint on the bristles, and blow

local hobby shops but i will advise you to practice on other plastics and see how long you wait until you put a clear coat over it. btw what pickups will you be painting

lol, it lived a good life.

OP: Are you going to be painting it on monochrome? Or full color? If you were doing monochrome, i'd suggest a spray can with whatever color and a stencil.

If it has a pickup cover then yes you could. But if you dont have a pickup cover and it is bare I'd think it would ruin it.
