I'm not sure if this will get closed or not because I haven't been on for a while, but I didn't see anything about it in the rule section so w/e..
Anyways, here's the basic idea: I ask a couple questions about CR that are related to movies and the first person to get the answers right can have a go at posting their own...if it's not closed by then.
HERE WE GO!

#1 What song did Bill and Ted quote as the meaning of life at the gates of Heavan?

#2 Who were Wayne and Garth not worthy to be in the presence of in Milluwakee?

#3 In Fast Times at Ridgemont High, what is said to be the greatest make out album and what side?

#4 Who played "Pink" in Pink Floyd's The Wall?

#5 What KISS album does Jam's mother throw in the trash at the start of Detroit Rock City?

#6 What song are the convicts listening to in Con Air that is found to be ironic?

#7 What is Adam Sandler's characters favourite band in Big Daddy?

#8 What movie did AC/DC do the sound score for and what is the name of the album?

#9 Name 3 muscians who appear in Tommy that are not members of The Who

#10 These brothers created the song Respect the Wind for the movie Twister, who are they?

Give me a few minutes, I'll probably do only one or two questions.

EDIT: here we go-
1. In Almost Famous, Jeff, the lead singer of the band Stillwater, says "Some people have a hard time explaining rock and roll. I don't think anyone can really explain rock and roll. Except maybe..." Who was the exception?

2. What song did Aerosmith perform at Waynestock in Wayne's World 2?

Well, they're all Bowie songs... I'm guessing Ziggy Stardust is one of them?

I haven't seen the movie, I just know most of the soundtrack songs were Bowie's.

Brandon860
08-01-2006, 11:55 AM
yah they're all Bowie tunes, the best one he does I think is probably Rock N Roll Suicide

As for Ennio.... it's possible; all I remember from the movie are the Queen songs, though.

Since I don't feel like thinking too hard right now, I'll ask another question from Almost Famous :)

Isn't it 'At Fillmore East' by The Allman Brothers?

BrainDamage

08-02-2006, 06:16 PM
I have to admit that Almost Famous is one of the few movies that I want to see but have never got around to it....i've got the soundtrack off one of my friends though

So I have no idea and will not risk wildly guessing at the risk of humiliating myself

1. In Waynes World 2, who did Del think wasn't touring anymore?

2. Where was Waynestock held?

TheHeartbreaker

3. Be Cool- Gene Simmons, Steven Tyler all of Aerosmith was in that movie. They, as well as another singer (who I can't remember the name of) played Cryin' (the song was performed three times during the actual Aerosmith show it was filmed at :p: ).
