Don't you think it's a bit obscure to get extra points you have submit 100 tabs and to get extra points for anything else you have to submit around 10 to 20? To me, tabs take a lot more work so why do we get less credit for them? Anyone agree?

The man makes a good point.

However, I suppose it has more to do with the proportion of tabs submitted to the amount of other stuff - normally every update, you get at most 10 reviews, and up to 200 tabs at a time. So everyone would end up with loads of points if tabs were over supported.

It makes sense..but most of the sites are shut down now, except for UG or course.

^^Then I guess they're stolen from guitar magazines and official tab books...

Stil, it's a fair bit of effort to copy out all that sh*t, so I say good on them!

ALso tabs are often stolen from other sites.

I thought there was no problem with that aslong as you didn't credit yourself for it??

^^I think it says somewhere that all submissions should be the submitter's interpretation of that song, which it really aint if you nicked it from somewhere else. However, if you don't mention that you stole it they're not really gonna be able to prove that you did... I think they're just working on the assumption that x number of people are gonna be stealing thier tabs from somewhere else.
