Poll two. Go!

Untitled

As i spoke before, i wil now talk once more
Listen to my words as I will speak
Of the end of an era wich will come with darkness
But only to them who are wise enough to listen and not to pray

When the three biggest spheres fly side by side
There, south of where the savier was betrayed
The father will fall and the sheep be lost
Him pierced by arrows, made of steel, his horse burned in flames

The end, it means, to them who follow
And camps shall be made once again
The god of war will be loved, not feared
And earth controlled by terror and hate

Kumquat Apricot

static pixels light the sky,
breathless mouths spark war,
entropy and apathetic guns
spit fire from cement lungs,
metal fingers streak oxygen
where cold eyes once saw.
the heat is gone as the
frost of the iron curtain
closes.

July 2nd 1566

Verdant fields proclaim this con shall be cede
As devout pastures are scorned in mercury
Before an amaranth dawn all take heed
Per annums crop by noonday lies thalassicly

I like the third, but feel like the thesaurus was slightly abused there, so i went with the 1st.

<3

you know i'm playin yo.

i mean, you envisage that i am in fact just partaking in some benevolently auspicious and comradely persiflage, if i am undistorted.

Poppycock, your trifle idioms only further ones e-g-o.

SilenceEvolves

but without one being pestilent in aggrandizing their e-g-o as you have so eloquently put it, there would be no impetus nor incentive to do anything at all. philanthropy does not exist sir, only supersciliousness, and you exemplify this through prose, patois and parlance. doublespeak, if i may.

i think we're making progress here.

Weird...I really should've thought twice before I voted for blue...it's not very Nostradamus AFAI can see :\
Oops. If vote changing is allowed I'd change mine to green, I suppose.

^ If it stays the same then both will go through, just vote green in the final, best way.

^^TBH, I think it's better that blue didn't win. This was supposed to be a Nostradamus comp, like.

All three songs were really good and poetic but, I like 1 the best.

The prompt was to write something that perdicts something, not rip-off his style, I think people just used a thesaurus like crazy and went blitzkreig on trying to be exactly like The Damus.

Mine predicted the fall of the soviet union, if you're going by how nostradamus wrote, one shouldn't even be up there it is all too blunt and The Damus used vague references to anything, that's why people think he was actually clairvoyant.

Oh well, I agree though
