Hey everyone, just got done refining this song, and I didn't feel like bringing a thread back to life thats been post-less over three months, so I made a new one. This song is a Classic Rock sound, and it definitely sounds best on GP5, but because of the new RSE updates to the program (you can choose between a les paul or strat, a million different amp models, different drum sets..) most of you will hear my GP4.

Cheers and Crit for Crit!

*note- Please, if you crit my song bad, give me some suggestions as to how I can improve.

It was good, some nice riffs and licks in there. only problem i see is the tempo. that slow speed made me kinda bored. speed it up a little bit imo. i think it would sound fantastic ;)

Hmm, I will fool around with it, see if I like what happens with it. Thanks :D

EDIT: I did fool around with it, for those who think its a tad slow it also sounds good at 130 or even 140 BPM, at least IMO.

Seeing as how I don't play bass, I'm not disappointed. :p: If you happened to make one for me, then it would be totally kick ass. And come on, its me :D

the song is boring and a bit repetative. speeding up the tempo will probably fix this.

crit mine (http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=460529)?

Ok, here is the revised version with a faster tempo and GiantRaven's baseline, I like it a lot :D

Yea, if only you could record vocals and add them over GP5.. :(

Nice job. I really like, especially now, with the faster tempo and new bass part.

you're obviously not a drummer or bassist. If you played this with a band, your rhythm section would get awfully bored. Try going back and adding a few counterparts and syncopation in there, it's amazing what it can do for a song. Also, try blending the acoustic intro in with the rest of the song, the change is a bit too sudden, unless thats what you want, but create more of a pause and make the entrance really big.

my 2 cents.

^^^indeed^^^

the drums are a session drummers worst nightmare - they're boring, repetative, and a bitch to play.

but the rest is pretty good - solo is ok, but he slow parts of it could use some work

crit mine? (in sig)

Yea, I really only pay attention to lead guitar, as it is my current position in a band.
