Yeah, I decided to screw around with some diminished. The beginning sounds like normal metal. It speeds up and changes direction sort of and then goes all diminished style. It's nowhere near done yet. Drums suck. I believe as a whole it's on the poopy side right now.

it wasn't bad, the beginning was goood and the lead wasn't bad, but the guitar under the lead was really kind of bland, just rest and then two chords. The lead wasn't great either, but with work it could sound really goood. 6/10.

Thanks. I just cranked it out in about half an hour, nothing particularly special.

The start was a bit meh, but I liked the second half - it had some nice sounding stuff

Critting as I listen.
The intro riff is a little cliche. I like the diminished triad harmonies at the end of the phrases that go up a half step overy other measure. Bring the drums into the mix, it's metal, VERY drum centric music. Syncopate up the rhythm in the drums a bit to correlate with the guitar. Especially on the power chords after the harmonic runs. Also... a bit short. Maybe if you like it enough put some time into creating an A and B section and make the song a bit longer, eh?

Updated. With a little thing after the previous ending. Not sure you guys will like it. Also a little 4-bar bridge of arpeggios before returning to the second part again.

It is(a computer)...I have a better one at the bottom of the list. It's missing the third part but I changed it a little.
