Is it on the high e? If so your tab is probaly not reliable, and after all it would be hard to find many good arch enemy tabs, as they tune down so low (2 steps). If it's on the b or g, just count down 4 frets and play it on the b rather than the g, or count down 5 frets and play on high e if its on the b. G-23 = B-19 , B-23 = E-18

maybe he does have 24 frets or he does the "string of the frettboard thing"

Maybe he has 23 frets? You don't need 24 frets to play the 23 fret. Or he could just bend, or something of the sort.

i doubt he could bend that fast....he's playing 1/16 notes like this:

23-20---22---23---22----20---23---20---22-23-22---20---23---20---22 and so on

the 22-23-22 is probably a bend + release

I know this is a dead old thread but I was learning Nemesis and noticed this too from the tabs.

If you look at the live version of Nemesis Here (http://http://youtube.com/watch?v=IvCAWvWTXQM) it doesnt look like he even starts on the high E for the first solo... and it doesnt sound that much like the tab either?

Maybe he plays it differently live, I would like to know though..

I think its Chris Amotts, but since he was gone during the show in the link i posted, I guess michael took his lead.

octaver or a whammy pedal pushed down like 1/16 of an inch adding like +1/2 to the note

chris amott just usually does it, but michael did when they had frederik, and he played it differently... i wish i knew how he did, because i play the song and have a 22 fret
