Except Guns 'N Roses are not Classic Rock (directed towards the threadstarter), so it looks as though you need a new number one and number five selection. :)

Anyways... This is very likely to change, but at the present moment...

1) Machine Head - Deep Purple
2) Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin
3) Idlewild South - The Allman Brothers Band
4) The Yes Album - Yes
5) The Wall - Pink Floyd

5. Paranoid (Black Sabbath)

^ Why do i need a new number 5 selection? AC/DC is classic rock....
ok and if your not including gnr, then move them all up and add zeppelin III

That's what I meant. Guns 'N Roses doesn't count for Classic Rock, so that would mean you would have only had four albums.

Well, I guess you don't need a new fifth favorite, considering you didn't give an actual number, but I'm assuming that you want our top five favorite albums.

I'm not saying that AC/DC isn't Classic Rock - they definitely are, just that Back in Black would then be considered number four, rather than five.

However, it seems as though you guessed that's what I meant, but I just wanted to clarify.

I don't think I'll ever be able to make a favorite list of all time. Tastes change of course, but enough about semantics...

No order:

The Kinks - The Village Green Preservation Society
The Beatles - White Album
Love - Forever Changes
The Pretty Things - S.F. Sorrow
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
The Byrds - Notorious Byrd Brothers

Yeah, it's six, I couldn't decide between the last two.

Erm, I'll try 5. In no order:

Beck Ola - Jeff Beck Group

Hunky Dory - David Bowie

Meddle - Pink Floyd

Benefit - Jethro Tull

Nursery Cryme - Genesis

Boo that was tough. Too many that are just about at the same level that I'd want to put.

Fixed, thanks. Although, it could be badass enough to make it on the list twice.
