Yeah, great title, I know. I've put this piece together, basing it on a standard I-iv-V progression in B. I've got everything in place except the guitar solo, which I'm waiting for the guitarist to write once he gets back into town.
Any feedback or comments would be most appreciated.
Now, on to look over some other people's stuff . . . .

ummmm the only thing really bluesy about this is the 12 bar progression....but you did say hyprid so i geuss itll slide, id like to hear how the solo plays out.

Well, we tend to start all of our practices with a 12-bar blues jam, so I'm trying to adapt that into the start of a song. I'd like to hear how the solo plays out, too, if the farking nerf herder would ever answer my e-mails.

Try to build a decent rhythym before writing the solo.
And by decent rhythym, I don't mean straight quarter notes all the way.
