I'm making a CD called "The Ultimate Upbeat Indie Electro Pop Collection" and I need more music for it. I think the title says it all. It should...
be dancey and fun
mix guitars and keyboards
definitely be catchy
Here's what I've got so far:
Azure Ray - New Resolution (Postal Service mix) (http://mfile3.akamai.com/14123/wm2/muze.download.akamai.com/2890/us/uswm2/_!/972/510972_1_03.asx?auth=daEbxahbCd8axc3aQd8apdxbTbpdccPdtc1-bfICpJ-Ci-ddhck&aifp=1234&obj=v60610)
The Bravery (http://www.purevolume.com/thebravery) - Fearless
The Bravery - Honest Mistake
The Bravery - No Brakes
Broadcast - Michael A Grammar
Dandy Warhols - You Were The Last High (http://shelanamiya.imeem.com/music/BNbYymhl/you_were_the_last_high/)
Elkland - Apart (http://www.purevolume.com/elkland)
Elkland - Everybody's Leaving
The Gritty Midi Gang (http://www.myspace.com/thegrittymidigang) - (the breakup song)
The Gritty Midi Gang - Labor Day
The Gritty Midi Gang - Leap Day
The Gritty Midi Gang - Valentine's Day
The Postal Service - Such Great Heights
Suggestions? I added links to assist you (and because I'm bored). Thanks.

Any Les Savy Fav song ever written. My favorite album is 3/5, but Go Fourth is definatly the most electro-pop album they have.

MSTRKRFT - any song, but that might be too electro and not enough pop.
The knife - Silent Shout (the song), We share our mothers health
Daft Punk live at coachella has some amazing mixes
Apostle of Hustle - Folkloric feel (maybe too much pop, too little electro... sortof the animal collective of Canada, minus the excessive vocal harmonies.)
Bloc Party - Luno or Like eating glass remixes
Hot Chip - Over and Over, Boy from school, No fit state
Neon Blonde - The Future is a mesh stallion, Headlines, Black Cactus Killers
Ratatat - Seventeen Years, Fix Up look Sharp (dizzee Rascal remix), Hot (Missy Elliot remix)
Sound of Animals Fighting - My Horse Must Lose
The Strokes - Whatever Happened?, Automatic Stop (No keyboards, deal with it.)
Thom Yorke - The Eraser
The Unicorns - Jellybones
Tv on the radio - I was a lover

Deerhoof can be fun poppy and dancable, but not a whole lot of electro.
I'd suggest these songs though:
Flower
This Magnificent Bird Will Rise
Spirit Ditties of No Tone
Belle and Sebastian - White Collar Boy
AIR - Cherry Blossom Girl
ftw.

Thanks guys. I'll snag these and see what I think. Whoever gave me bad recommendations will die a bloody death. Not really. But some of you were actually very helpful and I 'preciate it.
Giving me a band name really doesn't help me. Every song by a band isn't their best or their catchiest, so try to give their most popular or most catchy, mmmkay? Thanks.

Check out a band called The Appreciation Post -- T.A.P. (http://myspace.com/theappreciationpost)
They are synth core pop (in my opinion) but they seem to fit this mold

So Young It Hurts - The Hampdens
They are a small indie band from Aus... Check em out on MySpace.. I dunno if that song is there though. It is on LimeWire though I think
Oh.. and you may hate it, but I love it and I think it fits the description.
Dear Jamie... Sincerely Me - Hellogoodbye
Very... Girly.. is the only word that I can find to describe it. But it reminds me of all the best bubble gum pop from the 90s.
