i've been trying to figure out how to get PowerTab to work
and ive started to get the hang of it so i thought i would post a riff which is thought was pretty cool up.
Does it sounds familiar to anything?
maybe some advice on how to improve it?

It's a good idea, but myself being a fan of the more thrash / speed metal type of music I liked it better when I speeded it up. If you're into that kind of thing try it, I speeded it up to about 230.

Simple, yet decent. Just speed it up (230 - 240 maybe?) and add on. I can see this going places.
Crit one of mine if you have the chance?

Sounds a lot like a riff in this one song by Hawthorne Heights... I can't remember which one though. Your riff is better than theirs.

Thanks for all the feedback :)
i'm going to start building on to it now, and speed it up a bit
i'll post a near finished or finished product within the next week or two

Yeah thats a good riff. I exported it to Guitar Pro and it sounded awesome. It sounds like something Trivium or Megadeth. If you add some more cool variations to that riff then that would make a cool song. Rock on.
