What Brian uses and has to get that uniqe sound(both in the Red Special and sound system)?

VOX AC 30 for amp, and lots of efects, 1 sec...theirs a vid on him i saw a few days ago where he explains his gear...

He built his own AC30, I think because he couldn't afford to buy one.

He used 12 AC30s I believe. 6 for rhythm and then all 12 for lead.

For a lot of his studio harmony sounds he used an old battery powered amp built by John Deacon
