Now, Now Child, please don't fret
Go play on your styrafoam slide
Next to the synthetic swing set
Open your porcelain eyes

You never knew who you were
'Cause you never left from here
And You never found yourself
'Cause you never left me

Dressing up a window's paine
With welcome mats, fun, and games
Just to throw it all
To cast it all away

You never knew who you were
'Cause you never left from here
And You never found yourself
'Cause you never left me

Now, Now Child, don't be scared
go to sleep in your marshmallow bed
Next to the silicate statue
Soon apples will turn deep red,
And you will walk out into the world
Unknown and Undefined

You never knew who you were
'Cause you never left from here

You never left,
never knew
all because,

Your childhood was a facade.

Hey you with the tin can on your head
and a smile to melt the sun,
what have you done with my god?
You with Piccadilly and the Circus,
big tops and dancing elephants,
how dare you cause a fuss.

You smell like a sewer,
you look like a busker,
but I've never heard anyone sing as good as you.
On the Mall with your flatcap on the ground,
begging for mercy and sympathy.
All I can offer is apathy.

Laughing at the sun
as he walks down Regent Street.
The tin can is falling down
and I can't seem to make sense
of this lonely man
on the streets,
people caring untoward.
I can feel the anger rise inside him.
People, come home,
salvation is at hand,
it's at hand

Now down Embankment
he desires a soliloquy,
talking to himself because he has no friends.
We all laugh when we see him
but what we do not understand
is underneath that grotty façade
is a man...a man who's a pillar for all of us.

Hey you with the tin can on your head
and a smile to melt the sun,
what have you done with my god?
You with Piccadilly and the Circus,
big tops and dancing elephants,
how dare you cause a fuss.

Now down the unforgiving Embankment
he dreams a soliloquy.
Talking to himself, he has no friends.
We all laugh when we see him,
oh but what we don't understand
is that he, this hobo is a man,
he's a pillar for the rest of us.

Red. Just.

Yknow I can usually tell, if I know the writer, who's piece is whose, but these were so similar.. I have a faint Idea. I dunno. anyway, I really liked both :)
