most canadian music is under-rated and no one has ever heard of them outside of canada...thats not always the case but whatever.

The Guess Who put Canada on the map for music. They were huge in the 60s and still are fairly big. Such a good band. Randy Bachman is incredible.

But ya, there is a lot of talent here, most of it in clubs though.

Has anyone mentioned Zygote? Amazing indie band from Toronto. They're a fusion of jazz, funk and rock. Sorta like very early Incubus (Fungus Amoungus), but with their own distinct style.

I also like Frank Marino and Buck 65; both very uniquely cool musicians.
