I hope I can ask this and not get warned for it. But can anyone suggest me some good hardcore punk bands, bands like Aus Rotten and stuff like Casualties(street punk, and not very liked, I know).

Oxymoron
Chaos UK

Just go to some street punk shows. Or if there aren't any, then just read a street punks jacket to find some bands.

They have nothing to do with either hardcore, or punk music.

the casualties are horrible.

if you want some crust/anarcho/traditional grindcore bands, there's antischism, anti-product, contravene, dystopia, phobia, and cripple bastards. a lot of my friends that are all into punk seem to like barriers now bridges.

JFA
Los Olvidados
Meat Puppets (first record)
Minutemen (listed again because they're great)
The Partisans
Replacements (a little poppy/indie, but good)

They're definitely a punk band, but some people think if a band gets played on tv they aren't punk. But they definitely base their music around punk and it's definitely not pop-punk, how many pop-punk bands have screaming vocals? The old stuff was hardcore but I reckon the enw stuff is just punk rock with a bit of variety thrown in. They don't regurgitate the same stuff track after track.

Saccharine Trust

I wouldn't really call them hardcore, but they're awesome.

I put them in with hardcore bands because they don't really fit in with anything else. Plus, they played with all the other SST bands. Whatever they are, they definitely are great.
