2 things, and 2 things only.

1. Don't suck (Practice, practice, practice, PRACTICE. Don't goof off at practice, actually practice).

2. (The most important one) Have fun (Jump around, interact with the crowd, do something original).

If you do these 2 things, you'll be perfect dude.

Well done on getting the gig.

Now Practise like hell to get your set-list down to a tee then practice it even more till it becomes basically natural.

Then have lots of fun and rock out :)

Just have fun, stay loose and relaxed. Don't move around so much that you mess up, but don't stand like a robot, either.

Relax- enjoy yourself and put on a good show- just keep practising together, DONT get complacent, EVEN when you think "yeah, we have this pretty good now" KEEP GOING ;)

Play your ****ing heart out

You own the stage

did the more well known bands get you the gig?

kiss-ass. thank them before your last song openly ro smothin. makes ya seem nicer.

other than that, just play like you love it. if your in a band but dont look like you enjoy it it creates a bad environment. if your moving and jumpin or playing WITH the band rather than in it (idk you and the vocalist walk up in front of eachother and play facin eachother, small interactions like that) it looks better and tends to be more of a crowd pleaser (well I like to see it, anyway)

if you all go scare-crow, everyone is gonna be like bored... so like.. idk, do the robot..?

Looking stupid onstage is better than being boring.

Standing still on stage makes you look stupid. Like you're not interested at all. You have to move.

Looking stupid while moving is a whole different story. If you look stupid while pulling off guitar trick, and entertaining the crowd, the audience will remember you for the fun band.

+one (my one button dosen't work :( )

If you look stupid then someone might remember what you are playing, giving htme a better idea of what your songs are like
