Drop the whole "Doom/Death Metal" crap for a start ;)

Or, if you are hell bent on playing that music, headbang or whatever metal bands do. OH! Or eat your guitar!

Na, screw that last one.

Just enjoy it and show the audience a good time.

have fun...get the crowd fired up (tell em to jump around ..mosh ...wall of death blabal) ONE with the crowd....

As said before, be energetic, don't make it noticeable if you make a mistake, and just plain have fun. The crowd will not have fun if you aren't having any fun.

if you dont feel like jumping around or something, dont just stand there (unless your johnny ramone). you'll look stupid just standing there. walk around or at least sit on a big amp :p:

Youd be surprised,

Actually practicing headbanging and stage performance at the practice is ****ing well worth it.
Try to synchronize windmills, interaction between members, general on stage antics.

A bit of choreography never went astray. ;)

Haha.. Windmills, is that when you swing your long hair around in time with the music? It's awesome when Slipknot do it, there's like 4 of em doing it at the same time. Looks leet.

if your giging in a place with other bands playing after or before you. Try to be remembered, be eneergetic, make sure the crowd has a good time and screwing up will matter less if you top off your shows with stage moves.

remember the rule off stage moves though: only pull them off if you actually know how to play your instrument well.
no one likes a guy playing smoke on the water with his teeth

be relaxed, yet energetic, play well together, and kick some ass! :peace:
