general vandy type questions

1. i always feel like a pretentious asshole when i tell people that i'm the lead singer and lead guitarist of my band, how do i get over my modesty?

2. my band is playing live for the first time onstage tomorrow, what can i do so i'm not just standing there?

3. what makes good crowd banter?

4. how can i learn to not play show-offy solos full of pentatonic wankeery instead of cool short solos?

2. Jump around stage if youy must.
3.Insult them, or if there's a pit, say (to all the pitters, i wanna see some blood!!)
4. get a long solo, divide it int oshort parts as interludes between chorus/verse/bridge. and then do a long one as the main solo.

to number 1:
just keep sayin it to yourself. you are the lead for 2 things so you should be proud

number 2:
if youre lead vocals and guitar you might have to stay around the mic but when youre not singing just move around alot and put emotion into the solos
