Johnny and June Cash have some great duets, and they are perfect for acoustic

You might wanna check out Set Yourself on Fire by Stars. It's an album and it's full of male/female duets that could be done with just an acoustic guitar or piano.

"Roadside" by Rise Against. It's not acoustic, but it's clean, no overdrive.

^ as soon as i saw this thread I thought of Roadside.

Rosebleedblack beat me to the punch.

You could deffinately do it acoustic, though.

Fairytale of New York, possibly the best duet song ever.

Where the Wild Roses Grow by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds. It's a duet between him and a young Kylie Minogue.... yeah, Kylie, I know, but it's a great duet.

Also, I've seen footage of Matthew Good doing an acoustic version of Hurt (NIN and later Johnny Cash) with a woman who sang for his support band. That was good.

A Tout Le Monde (Set Me Free) - Megadeth ft. Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. I don't know how it would sound accoustic.

I second that.

Also, "Set The Fire To The Third Bar" by Snow Patrol would work as well. And an acoustic cover of "Breakfast Of Champions" by Rainer Maria would be pretty deck.

Hmm... you could probably set some Mates Of State songs to acoustic, too. You could try a fingerpicked version of "A Duel Will Settle This." That would sound nice.

Post Modern Girls - Regina Spektor & The Strokes. You could do an acoustic version.
