Is it me, or is he one of the best at varying his attack? Sometimes, I'll look at a tab and think "Whoever tabbed this is out of their mind! BB's not playing that." When you listen closer sure as hell he is. Amazing!!. For the longest time I always appreciated BB King, but never really loved his music. I can honestly say, over the last six months this guy has gone from a musician I have liked to a musician I idolize.

Any thoughts or comments

Personally, I think BB King deserves more respect than any other musician today. The man is 81 and still touring, and he's done more to shape electric blues guitar than any other guitarist. Not only that, but he is an amazing person who has done wonders for people in need of help.

Just the fact that he is credited as developing the vibrato we all use today on our steel string guitars is enough reason in itself to appreciate him.

B.B. King, to me, is probably one of the best guitarists in any genre.

He might not have the flash of some people, but when he plays his guitar he plays his guitar; every note is pure perfection and emotion, and his tone is unbelievably beautiful.

Simply seeing a picture of B.B. makes me smile.
