Hey lads,

It's been a long time since I've been on here. But I thought I'd ask about my latest musical obsession, namely Rhythm and Blues.

I find that true RnB is an incredibly overlooked genre amongst guitarists, mostly because of an overuse of the term with more modern music. But if you take a look at some of the old classic stuff there is a wealth of fantastic playing, singing and music to be found.

Anyone else here really dig some good RnB? From Al Green to R.Kelly, throw out some of your favourites.

These guys are the Isley Brothers, they were a classic RnB band popular during the 70's (though this concert is mid 90's). Interesting fact is that these dudes actually became close friends with Hendrix when he was still unknown in the US. He lived with them for a while and they bought him his first strat. There's even some bootleg recordings with him on it. Ernie Isley's playing blows my mind when he cuts loose like this.
